My New Years Resolution: $0-$25,000 Invested by the End of 2021 as a Grocery Stocker.
“If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.”– Albert Einstein
This week, I finally decided what my new year's resolution would be; I decided to start investing the money I earned from my new job as a grocery stocker.
I decided to set a specific goal that I plan to achieve by the end of the year.

I make $11 per hour times 40 hours times 52 weeks equals $22,880 minus 20% tax equals $18,304.
As you can see, if I invest every cent that I earn, I still won’t hit my goal. To achieve my goal, I must do more.
“A good goal is like a strenuous exercise — it makes you stretch.”– Mary Kay Ash
I decided to make my goal public to define my goal in words clearly. That way, I know if I am failing to achieve my goal.
I will be updating my progress weekly, showing what I invested in and how much my investment earned or lost during the past week so that I will be reminded of my goals and where I am, and so that hopefully, someone else can learn something from my journey.
